Arcadia
A graphic novel proposal
Arcadia is a graphic novel pitch that was created for the mentorship program with ITSME Learning. The story follows Emmit has he gets stuck inside a fantasy video game called Arcadia. And it seems the only way out is to get his crybaby sister, Addy, to beat the game by working together.
Summary: Summer break has begun and there is nothing more exciting to the young Emmit O’Neil than spending the next few months playing the brand new game, Arcadia, that he has been dying to get his hands on. But much to his dismay, he is also tasked with watching his younger sister, Addy, who doesn’t exactly make the best player 2.
When Emmit finally gets home with the game for the first time, he doesn’t waste a second ripping past the plastic and loading the game into the console. But when Emmit boots up the game for the first time, he is transported into the game of Arcadia itself!
In order to save the realm of Arcadia and return to his own world, Emmit has to fight his way through this game’s challenges alongside his sister, Addy, as she keeps his cover from being blown.
